| Proposed Analysis: | This request of accessing ADNI data source is for a study designed by Dr. Ellen Langer at Harvard University. We want to retrieve retroactive data of dementia patients in nursing homes and compare them with nursing home patients without dementia. According to Langerian mindfulness theory, nursing home patients with dementia are more mindful than those who don't have dementia because dementia patients tend to view things in new ways every day. We suspect that nursing home patients with dementia live longer than those without dementia. We want to request access to ADNI database to test our hypothesis.
