| Proposed Analysis: | We are attempting to utilize diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) of the optic nerves to assess patients suffering from glaucoma, a degenerative eye disease and a leading cause of irreversible blindness. To do so, we need a standardised set of DWI scans from large a cohort of healthy, aging participants to measure glaucoma patients against, which is what we need the ADNI data for. While our work is not directly related to Alzheimer's disease (AD), glaucoma is an age-related degenerative disorder with possible links to AD. |
