Proposed Analysis: Background: The contemporary understanding of age-related cognitive impairment centers on the interplay between neurodegenerative disease and cerebrovascular disease. The most clear-cut examples of mechanistic interactions are seen in CAA and AD. Notably, apolipoprotein E is a principal component of both CAA and neurotic plaques, which has been implicated by evidence that the APOE*ε4 allele is a major risk factor for AD and associated with Aβ deposition in CAA, while APOE*ε2 allele, a protective factor for AD, is concerned with a risk factor for hemorrhagic CAA. Hypothesis: We infer that APOE variance is associated with different types of cognition impairment, based on the hypothesis that different alleles effect variant lobes and have different roles in AD progression. Materials we apply: 1.Baseline information (Age sex etc.) 2.Clinical symptoms (Focal defects etc.) 3.Imaging data 4.Cognition status 5.AopE gene
