| Proposed Analysis: | I will be utilizing genome data of both cognitively normal (CN) adults and those suffering from Alzheimer's disease (AD) to conduct a deep learning-based GWAS. The goal is to identify SNPs that adequately predict whether an individual is AD or CN, building on previous research done by Jo et al. in "Deep learning-based identification of genetic variants: Application to Alzheimer’s disease classification." This project is for a bioinformatics course at the University of Tulsa and will only be used for educational and research purposes. |
