| Proposed Analysis: | I would like to use ADNI data for the purpose of scientific investigation. I would look at, most primarily, the Cognitive Assessment data, possibly the Medication Data, and possibly MRI/PET scan data I would like to look at Cognitive Assessments over the months. I'd analyze data involving screening, baseline, and Month 3 through Month ~36 data for each the control subjects, MCI subjects, and AD subjects. I would like to see how different types of memory (based on cognitive assessment data) decline, and in what pace between MCI vs AD participants. I would also like to look at (possibly) medication data (only a possibility if there’s certain medication data available so I don’t know for sure about this yet) in females: if there’s data regarding usage of hormonal contraceptives- analyzing if the usage of taking hormonal contraceptives (vs not taking hormone-based contraceptives) seems to have an effect on any sort of quicker cognitive decline/impairment on demonstrated memory ability since there’s a lot of inconsistencies in current research about this. |
