| Proposed Analysis: | The research we are proposing is about the detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients by using fMRI images from AD and controls. First, time-series from the activations in regions of interest in the brain will be decomposed with Multiresolution analysis. Then features from each frequency will be extracted and fed to a machine learning algorithm. Each algorithm will specialize in a frequency. This will allow for better classification accuracy, resulting in an alternative to the detection of the disease. |
