| Proposed Analysis: | My interests are in Machine Learning -- computational methods for extracting useful information from large and complex datasets. I am following up a piece of work on the SuStain algorithm (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fdata.2021.661110/full) and have several algorithmic extensions to the idea therein, especially the development of meaningful distance measures (metric learning) arising from fundamentals of image / texture processing. Access to the data would be invaluable in making comparisons. |
