Proposed Analysis: | Diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease using MRI and PET images.. Diagnosis of this disease is done but that too at the later stage only. Thus, if the disease is predicted earlier, the progression or the symptoms of the disease can be slowed down. Deep learning is used to study a medical image like MRI and PET and helps in the early diagnosis of AD. Convolutional Neural Network is used for brain image analysis. When an MRI or PET image is given as an input to the trained CNN model here, the output shows whether that person is suffering from AD or not. Machine Learning technique alone can also be used to predict the disease based on some psychological parameters but it gives lesser accuracy than that of CNN model which takes the medical image as an input. Hence it is a sort of aid to the radiologist in predicting the Alzheimer’s Disease. |
