Proposed Analysis: | It is confirmed that Type-II diabetes patient has higher risk of getting Alzheimer's disease. Previous research revealed that the brain connectivity strength changed in Type-II diabetes patients even before they showed impairment in cognition. We plan to use CNN to train classifiers that can use brain connectivity strength to predict the clinical indicators in typeII diabetes. But our local DTI dataset has very limited samples (N=94), which would cause overfitting problems in the model. We wish to apply for the ADNI Data and use its DTI data to pretrain our model, in order to improve the performance of our CNN models. |
