Proposed Analysis: | The objective of this study is to explore how the cognitive tests relate to the structural features from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Specifically, we will ask the following questions: Can structural MRI features derived from deep learning models be used to: 1. Normal function, 2. Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), 3. Stable MCI, 4. Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, we will be using the machine learning approach we have developed recently to interpret the predictors of cognitive decline for use in clinical practice (Verma & Kumar, Society for Neuroscience meeting, 2021). |
