| Proposed Analysis: | I am currently writing my master's thesis at the eHealth Institute of FH Joanneum Graz on the implementation of an Freesurfer Pipeline for automatic segmentation of MRI brain-scans. The use of this pipeline is twofold, on one hand it shall be used by the department of radiology at the medical university vienna who work with the whole spectrum of dementia. They are currently assessing the MRI Images by hand and thus would profit immensely from the timesave by my solution. On the other Hand it is proposed to be used by FH Joanneum in the LETHE project (lethe-project.eu) which focuses on creating a prediction and intervention model for Alzheimers. Here it is also intended to provide a quick and easy way to segment the MRI scans and provide all relevant data at a glance. The data itself is primarly intended to be used as a testing and validation set for the FreeSurfer pipeline since its highly relevant to my work. The data will not be shared or used in any further extend than the cases mentioned above. Your dataset would provide tremendous help to my thesis and i would be very grateful should you decide to allow me to access it. |
