| Proposed Analysis: | Objective: Our research focuses on classification of neurological disorders using genomics based study of genetic variants and radiomics based approach for MRI images. Description: The computationally intensive nature of short-read alignment on the human reference genome made our research team focus on utilizing the Broad Institute's GATK pipeline on high-end NVIDIA accelerator cards for speeding secondary and tertiary analytics. We aim to parallelize the data-intensive computations of GATK stages on the V100 GPU cards using thread and data parallelism. The pyradiomics pipeline will run on our in-house NVIDIA V100 card using custom algorithms. This request of ADNI Dataset will allow our team to combine genomics and radiomics findings into a unified RadioGenomics approach that will aid our research to integrate findings with diagnostic schema. |
