Proposed Analysis: | We aim to develop an AI algorithm to class subjects as Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia or healthy controls on the basis of their FDG PET scan. We already have access to the NIFD database, and we also plan to use patient scans from our department. We need access to ADNI data because to not bias the AI algorithm, we need to use scans acquired on different PET cameras, and we may not have enough AD subjects from our department. A second objective of our study is to conduct an SPM analysis in order to try to uncover the most reliable clinical signs that might be useful to diagnose AD vs frontotemporal dementia. |
