Proposed Analysis: | - I want to perform a Granger-causality analysis on time-series fMRI data from AD patients to extract functional connectivity matrix and then, compare this matrix with the same matrix from an old and healthy group using machine learning models to see how should functional connectivity between brain regions change in an elderly to develop AD symptoms. the analysis will be performed in NiPyPe and Nilearn packages in python. - I want to compare structural connectivity in AD patients with those Parkinsonian patients with dementia in addition to volumetric analysis and cortical surface analysis and add them up to a neural network model to see how Parkinson patient can develop AD and dementia features. DTI analysis will be performed in MRtrix on Linux server and anatomical data will be analyzed with FreeSurfer. neural network will be constructed in Skilearn package in Python. |
