| Proposed Analysis: | My laboratory is interested in changes in cortical excitability in aging and in subjective cognitive declines. We use TMS and fMRI/MRS to evaluate changes in excitatory/inhibitory balance. We would like to complete a fMRI connectivity analysis of patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) as compared to persons with subjective cognitive decline and older adults without cognitive complaints. We hypothesize that adults with MCI and subjective cognitive decline will have lower intactness of resting state networks than older adults without cognitive complaints. |
