| Proposed Analysis: | We are interested in investigating several potential drug repurposing candidates for Alzheimer's disease that we have identified using a virtual transcriptome approach (i.e. drugs predicted to reverse the Alzheimer's gene expression signature, imputed from publicly available Alzheimer's GWAS summary statistics). We are using EHR data from Vanderbilt University Medical Center to compare Alzheimer's prevalence in individuals exposed and not exposed to the drug repurposing candidates, and how certain genetic variants may effect response to a drug repurposing candidate. We would like to use clinical and genetic data from ADNI for these analyses. |
