| Proposed Analysis: | Our work introduces a factor model for functional data. Researchers use factor analysis to uncover latent factors that explain covariations in observed data. Since imaging data, like fMRI, may be viewed as functional data, we believe our model could provide insight into such functional datasets. In particular, we seek to use our model as a tool to study the functional connectivity of brain regions. |
