Proposed Analysis: I conducted a study on a group of Chinese older adults, which were divided into successful cognitive aging (SCA) individuals, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients, and cognitively normal controls. After analyzing some properties of brain gray and white matter networks, I found when compared with the cognitively normal control group, the SCA group showed preserved brain structure in frontal regions, the MCI group showed impaired brain structure in temporal regions, and this “frontal-temporal” pattern seemed one of the substrates of the heterogeneity of cognitive aging. To validate this result in an independent dataset, I’d like to apply the ADNI data and further conduct some analysis. Thanks a lot to the ADNI group for your kind help.
