Proposed Analysis: Based on our AD (Alzheimer’s disease) mice model, we propose that impaired visceral adipose tissue is an early sign of AD before cognitive decline. Since visceral adipose tissue influences body weight and insulin sensitivity, inflammation, and lipid metabolism, it is interesting to investigate whether the impaired visceral adipose tissue and its associated factor in elders. Brief Description of Proposed Method and Data Analysis: Association analysis, ROC curve AI analytics, and AI analytics with blood lipid, insulin, glucose level, CRP, blood pressure, and MMSE or BMI (WHR) with different ages, gender, and APOE genotype. Subjects to be used: Subjects more than 65 years old, and subjects with SCD (Subjective cognitive decline) or MCI. Variables to be used: Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, TG, glucose, insulin, HbA1c, CRP, blood pressure (SBP, DBP), Cognitive function: MMSE, Body mass index (BMI), Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR): Height and weight, and hip circumference, Age, Gender, APOE genotypes (E2, E3, E4), Dementia or Alzheimer’s status (Time to diagnosis).
