Proposed Analysis: | Analyses will be based on the examination of three research hypotheses. The first hypothesis states that there will be a statistical relation between childhood physical abuse and Alzheimer’s disease. This hypothesis will be analyzed with a Chi-Square analysis using the presence or absence of childhood physical abuse as a predictor of the presence or absence of Alzheimer's disease. The second hypothesis states that there will be a statistical relation between childhood physical abuse and Parkinson’s disease. This hypothesis will be analyzed with a Chi-Square analysis using the presence or absence of childhood physical abuse as a predictor of the presence or absence of Parkinson's disease. The third hypothesis states that there will be a statistical relation between childhood physical abuse and Multiple Sclerosis. This hypothesis will be analyzed with a Chi-Square analysis using the presence or absence of childhood physical abuse as a predictor of the presence or absence of Multiple Sclerosis. |
