| Proposed Analysis: | We propose a functional multiple-index varying coefficient model, which regresses the imaging response on a multivariate covariate and a multivariate functional variable through varying-coefficient and functional multiple-index models. The proposed model enjoys several unique features of the multiple-index and varying-coefficient models. To tackle the complex domain of essential regions of the imaging response, we use multivariate splines over triangulation to approximate the varying coefficient functions. The proposed analysis aims to investigate the risk prediction and association mapping for the MRI based on some functional curves and scalar covariates. |
