Proposed Analysis: | Working with tensor data in a research project at the University of Michigan, and would benefit from having ADNI data as a resource. Project description: In many applications, processing tensor data in their multi-dimensional form rather than reshape them into vectors is of importance to avoid, for instance, computational and memory issues that might arise. In the most general sense, tensors are simply multidimensional arrays. Examples are Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and functional MRI (fMRI) data and hyperspectral images. This project will involve generating, pre-processing, and processing of multi-modal data, as well as studying, implementation, and if possible/applicable, developing novel tensor-based methods in machine learning and data science. |
