| Proposed Analysis: | My research investigates associations between substance use (alcohol, cannabis, tobacco), neurocognitive function, and aging. I request access to available ADNI datasets for an analysis of substance use (e.g., medical history of alcohol abuse, number of drinks per day; medical history of smoking, packs per day) and white matter/DTI in cognitively normal and MCI participants. I am particularly interested in relative contributions of different substances, e.g., general linear models with predictors for alcohol, smoking, and covariates on white matter integrity, with follow up analyses of associations between significant regions of interest and cognitive test performance. |
