| Proposed Analysis: | I plan to use resting state fMRI data and DTI data to build whole-brain computational models for healthy aging people and Alzheimer's patients. Then, using these models, I plan to first use model inversion approach to explore the differences in biophysical properties between AD patients and healthy people, and second, to apply virtual manipulation on the models to eliminate these differences.Thus, we will be able to establish mechanistic models of disorder and treatment. I would also try to add further constraints to the model using PET data to get a more realistic simulation. |
