Proposed Analysis: Research background: Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by memory impairment, and most patients develop cognitive dysfunction, including typical conscious content processing disorders such as misidentification and spatial awareness impairment. However, few studies have examined Alzheimer's disease from the perspective of conscious information processing.. The claustrum is a key nucleus for conscious content processing and has extensive fibrous connections to many cerebral cortex. During the progression of AD disease, it is also a susceptible site for pathological lesions such as iron deposition. Therefore, studying the volume and function of the Alzheimer’s disease participants’s claustrum will help us to better understand the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Research content: including AD, MCI, 3DT1 , fMRI , DTI , PET-CT, MMSE, MoCA, ADAS-cog and other cognitive function assessment scale information of normal elderly; The correlation between claustrum, hippocampal gray matter volume, metabolic value and cognitive function was evaluated, and structural connections and metabolic connections to the whole brain were calculated using the claustrum as a ROI to compare the differences between groups.
