| Proposed Analysis: | We would like to validate the differentially expressed gene(BMP6) screened by our group from GEO dataset and to explore the causal relationship of BMP6 in AD. We want to assess the changes of BMP6 at different times in AD continuum, to correlate the levels of BMP6 in blood and CSF with Aβ levels, tau levels, brain atrophy, disease severity and cognitive function in the enrolled population through correlation analysis and to determine whether this gene has the potential to become a new biomarker for the diagnosis of AD. |
