Proposed Analysis: | I aim to investigate the spectrum of sporadic AD using genetics and various structural and functional brain parameters. Genetic data, along with independent GWASs, will be utilised to calculate polygenic risk scores. The structural measures of interest are grey-matter volumes (MRI) and white-matter (DTI). The functional parameters are blood flow (fMRI, ASL), metabolism (FDG-PET), and amyloid deposition (amyloid-PET). Participants will include the AD, MCI, and CN cohorts. Data will be analysed using cross-sectional group comparisons and voxel-based correlations, and predictive models for participants with longitudinal data. |
