Proposed Analysis: | We aim to develop a process to predict glucose metabolism in patients with disorders of consciousness from ASL images. We plan to use the ADNI T1-weighted anatomical images, ASL images, and FDG-PET images to train this model in conjunction with our own corresponding MRI and PET data from patients with disorders of consciousness. The motivation to include the ADNI data in this process is to boost the training sample size in a context where training samples have brain lesions that are analogous to those present in disorders of consciousness (i.e., loss of grey matter tissue). |
