Proposed Analysis:	I would like to answer the question, does carrying the MIA genotype (specifically SNP 2233154) influence cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease patients? My mentor Dr. Alice Chen-Plotkin recently published a paper on MIA associated cognitive decline in Parkinson's patients (PMID: 35593028). It is well known that Parkinson's patients often have Alzheimer's co-pathology. We would like to know whether these results are replicable in a confirmed Alzheimer's disease cohort.
