| Proposed Analysis: | We propose to use the dataset to train a deep learning model to identify patterns of brain activity associated with Alzheimer's Disease using fMRI data. By combining this model with data collected using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in an Alzheimer's patient population, we hope to develop a non-invasive, high-resolution, and affordable tool for early diagnosis and monitoring of AD progression. By leveraging the strengths of both modalities, we aim to improve upon current diagnostic tools and provide a more accurate and accessible means of identifying cognitive impairment in AD patients. |
