Proposed Analysis: | As part of the HBCD study we have been building models for quality control and brain segmentation at the earliest stages of development (https://github.com/DCAN-Labs/CABINET/blob/main/README.md). We plan to expand some of this work in to adulthood and into aging populations with and without pathology. We believe this dataset will assist with this effort for testing but also for building the age appropriate atlases required for training. The hope is to build these models into commonly used tools like our own ABCD-BIDS pipelines (https://github.com/DCAN-Labs/abcd-hcp-pipeline) but also, fMRIprep, and our new NiBabies software (https://github.com/nipreps/nibabies) and XCP-D software (https://xcp-d.readthedocs.io/en/latest/). |
