Proposed Analysis: Clinical trials play a crucial role in drug development and medical research. However, one of the challenges in clinical trials is the availability of data, as acquiring data can be time-consuming, expensive, and limited in scope. The aim of this research proposal is to investigate the use of synthetic relational data to accelerate clinical trials. Specifically, we will explore the use of generative models to generate synthetic relational data that can be used to supplement clinical trial data. Investigation: What are the best generative models for generating synthetic relational data for clinical trials? How well does synthetic relational data compare to real-world clinical trial data in terms of statistical properties and predictive accuracy? What are the potential benefits and limitations of using synthetic relational data to supplement clinical trial data?
