Proposed Analysis: | Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease and the most common form of dementia, affecting many millions around the world. Accurate prediction of AD in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is highly valuable for clinical management and treatment. Exploring the longitudinal changes of individual brain functional connectivity patterns is of great value in precision medicine for AD. Despite o many studies on resting-state functional connectivity in AD, the longitudinal changes of functional connectivity and their relationship with cognitive decline in AD are still not well understood. Previous studies have found reduced connections between brain regions in AD patients compared to the MCI stage. We want to expand our database to explore longitudinal changes in the resting-state network and their relationship with cognition in AD, to further understand the relationship between neurodegeneration and network changes, and to determine whether rs-fMRI can be used as biomarkers. |
