Proposed Analysis: | Dear ADNI Data Sharing Initiative, I am writing to request access to the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset for my proposed analysis. My research aims to investigate the neuroimaging biomarkers that can predict the progression of Alzheimer's disease in early stages. The ADNI dataset, which includes neuroimaging, clinical, and genetic data from both normal and cognitively impaired individuals, is a valuable resource for my study. Specifically, I plan to utilize the longitudinal data from ADNI to examine the changes in brain structure and function over time and their correlation with cognitive decline in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and normal aging. My proposed analysis will involve data preprocessing, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to identify the most informative biomarkers for predicting disease progression. The results of this study may have important clinical implications for early detection and intervention of Alzheimer's disease. I assure you that I will comply with all the terms and conditions for data use outlined by the ADNI Data Sharing Initiative. I will also acknowledge the ADNI dataset and funding sources in all publications resulting from this research. Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Xinyi Wei |
