| Proposed Analysis: | We propose to investigate inflammatory mediators of AD disease progression. Therefore, we will combine proteomics from CSF and plasma with fluid and imaging biomarkers of neurodegeneration, astrogliosis, tau load and amyloidosis. We will do cross-sectional analysis across the AD continuum as well as longitudinal studies to evaluate the predictive value of neuroinflammation for disease progression and clinical worsening. Thereby, we will identify singular or combined biomarkers for a more detailled stratification of dementia patients. |
