Proposed Analysis: Amyloid PET is an important examination for the diagnosis and research of Alzheimer's disease, but it can only be performed in a limited number of facilities and requires high costs. MRI, on the other hand, is a relatively inexpensive examination that can be performed at more facilities than amyloid PET. Recently, several studies have reported the application of artificial intelligence based image synthesis technique to medical imaging (radiographs, CT, MRI, PET, etc.). If amyloid PET can be synthesized from MRI, the inconvenience of amyloid PET described above may be solved. However, few studies have generated amyloid PET from MRI. The purpose of this study is to synthesize amyloid PET from MRI using artificial intelligence based model and to investigate its usefulness.
