| Proposed Analysis: | I would like to integrate CSF SOMAScan proteomics data of healthy individuals to generate a model of age and predict age in a population of multiple sclerosis patients for which I have already generated SOMAscan data. This will involve creating elastic net models of age in a large control cohort and deploying this model on the multiple sclerosis patients to investigate whether accelerated aging is a feature of this disease and whether using biological rather than chronological age can be beneficial in modeling of disability. |
