Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Catie Chang
Institution: Vanderbilt University
Department: Electrical & Computer Engineering
Country:
Proposed Analysis: Our studies will focus on how fMRI signals and functional connectivity patterns relate to pathological aging. We will investigate functional networks, as well as data-driven methods for identifying components of fMRI data that are linked with fluctuations in internal physiological and vigilance states. These fMRI-based measures will be related to MCI/AD status and cognitive assessments.
Additional Investigators
Investigator's Name: Shiyu Wang
Proposed Analysis: As part of her PhD research, Shiyu will be examining fMRI patterns linked with fluctuations in physiological states, and relating these to cognitive measures (and MCI/AD status).
Investigator's Name: Roza Bayrak
Proposed Analysis: As part of her PhD research, Roza will be examining fMRI patterns linked with fluctuations in physiological states, and relating these to cognitive measures (and MCI/AD status).
Investigator's Name: Sarah Goodale
Proposed Analysis: As part of her PhD research, Sarah will be examining fMRI functional connectivity patterns, as well as components of fMRI data relating to internal states, and relating these to cognitive measures (and MCI/AD status).
Investigator's Name: Benjamin Gold
Proposed Analysis: Will be examining fMRI functional connectivity and hemodynamic signal components, relating these to clinical and cognitive measures.
Investigator's Name: Vivian Cai
Proposed Analysis: Vivian is an undergraduate student that will be assisting with the projects listed for the graduate investigators. (I specified B.S. under degree, but she is currently pursuing a B.S. and does not hold this degree yet.) Thank you!
