Proposed Analysis: | I will be working on this project with Les Shaw and Thomas Tropea. We want to determine whether plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 181 (p-tau181) distinguishes pathology-confirmed Alzheimer's disease (AD) from normal cognition (NC) adults. We want to derive a cut point that can identify if p-tau181 values above the cut point associate with faster rate of cognitive decline in MMSE. We would like to obtain plasma biomarker and clinical data for AD pathology confirmed cases. |
