Proposed Analysis: | We propose to study the relationship between metabolites and markers of cerebral small vessel disease. We plan to assess the association between plasma metabolites with neuroimaging biomarkers of white matter hyperintensities and cognitive impairment. Hippocampal volume and amyloid β PET will be examined to differentiate from potential other causes of cognitive impairment (ie., AD) besides cerebral small vessel disease. |
