| Proposed Analysis: | I am a full professor of applied mathematics interested in survival analysis. I saw that the ADNI data contains interesting information about the progression of individuals through different conditions, from cognitively normal to mildly cognitively impaired until a dementia diagnosis. Such data are particularly interesting for the application of multistate models, an advanced survival analysis tool that can model the probabilities of transition from one disease state to another. I would like to get access to the ADNI data so that members of our group and I can apply multistate models to such data and try to understand which features can affect disease progression for the Alzheimer disease. |
