| Proposed Analysis: | Transcriptomic datasets will be analyzed using standard methods to better understand the mechanism of Alzheimer’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. Other types of ‘omics data will be integrated along with transcriptomics to enable functional characterization of disease-associated phenotypes, molecular mechanisms and putative therapeutic targets. It is the hope to build predictive models to help nominate additional novel targets to pursue. Such hypotheses generated through this data can be tested in proof of concept experiments that will allow for the development of novel therapeutics for Alzheimer’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. |
