Proposed Analysis: My research project aims to explore the trustworthiness of augmentation techniques on brain images using the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset. Augmentation techniques provide opportunities to overcome challenges related to limited datasets and improve the performance of various machine learning algorithms. However, concerns have been raised regarding the trustworthiness and reliability of augmented images, particularly in the domain of brain imaging. The primary objective of this research project is to investigate the trustworthiness of augmentation techniques on brain images, specifically focusing on the ADNI dataset. By analyzing the impact of augmentation on brain images, we aim to assess the potential benefits and limitations of these techniques for accurate diagnosis, disease progression tracking, and treatment planning.
