| Proposed Analysis: | I am writing to request access to the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) data for our research focused on understanding the underpinnings of Alzheimer’s Disease. The research will leverage the available comprehensive clinical and longitudinal data to correlate disease-associated phenotypes with genetic information and investigate specific pathways and genetic factors associated with the disease’s pathogenesis, onset and progression. By integrating various data types, such as longitudinal clinical and neuroimaging data, we aim to uncover functional changes in the brain during disease stages. We plan to utilize advanced analysis techniques to explore this rich dataset. By applying rigorous data analysis methods, we aim to identify significant associations and relationships across modalities to uncover biomarkers and actionable targets. The hypotheses generated can be tested using functional assays and experiments amenable to the development of novel therapeutic options and the identification of modifiable risks for Alzheimer’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. |
