Proposed Analysis: | Stanford is collaborating with Mike Piscotty (president of the ALS Cure project) to use ML/statistical modeling to track ALS disease progression, with the broader goal of identifying ALS biomarkers. Part of this project requires training ML models on MRIs from patients with neurodegenerative diseases in order to track disease progression. This is why we are requesting access to the ADNI study: we require a library of priors in order to run Brain Extraction based on nonlocal Segmentation Technique (BEaST) on our MRI data. |
