Proposed Analysis: | I am a current PhD student in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on using the pupillary light response, in conjunction with functional MRI, PET tracer data, lifestyle, life-event, genetic, and physiological data, to estimate cerebrovascular reactivity and to identify early indicators of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. As part of my research, I am also working on developing supervised machine learning models to assist in classifying subjects into appropriate risk categories based on their cerebral physiology, demographic information, imaging data, and lifestyle/genetic information. Using the ADNI data would help me to develop models to use for transfer learning later in my project, to predict MCI and Alzheimer's disease diagnoses using the various biomarkers and data available through ADNI. |
