Proposed Analysis: The proposed project aims to apply advanced deep learning techniques on Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) data, focusing on neuroimaging data sets of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET). We intend to explore various neural networks such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) for image analysis and time-series analysis respectively. The primary goal is to identify early biomarkers and pattern changes in brain structures, thereby predicting the onset and monitoring the progression of Alzheimer's disease. The secondary goal is to correlate these neuroimaging findings with clinical, genetic, and neuropsychological data, facilitating a holistic, multi-modal approach. We anticipate that this study will contribute significantly to the early diagnosis and personalized treatment strategies for Alzheimer's patients.
