Proposed Analysis: | We develop automated procedural methods for analyzing neuroimaging data such as Diffusion Tensor Image (DTI) data for brain imaging research. We target to develop a method to find imaging features that accommodates big data with reproducibility of the results. For example, we consider feature selection within the Bayesian Dirichlet process prior framework incorporating generalized linear models. By considering the spatial relationship between affected areas, we hope to gain insights into the underlying disease mechanisms, including how the disease progresses, spreads, or affects neighboring regions. For broader accessibility, we also target to develop open-source software tools or packages that implement the automated procedural methods for analyzing DTI data. |
