Proposed Analysis: I am an undergraduate researcher working in Dr. May Dongmei Wang's Lab at the BME Department of Georgia Tech. My grad student mentors and I are working on using the ADNI dataset in a project that aims to investigate multimodal deep learning models to provide an improved early detection of Alzheimer's disease. Two types of multi-modal deep learning representation learning to classify patient rehabilitation outcomes will be analyzed: joint representation and coordinated representation. Additionally, we will use accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores as evaluation metrics to compare single modality with multi-modality models.
