Proposed Analysis: | 1. Examine blood-based N-termal tau (NT1) levels across the disease spectrum in sAD. 2. Examine key differences and similarities in NT1 across sAD and familial AD (DIAN-Obs cohort). 3. Using a multimodal biomarker framework, gain a better understanding of the association of NT1 with other key biomarkers of AD including amyloid, ptau isoforms, and neurodegeneration. 4. Utilize data from biomarker-negative ADNI participants from both ADNI and DIAN-Obs (non-carries) to gain a better understanding NT1 dynamics in AD and throughout adulthood. |
